Sommelier of the Year: Master Sommelier Michael Jordan, Napa Rose
Michael Jordan, a Master Sommelier, is the General Manager of Napa Rose at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and the wine educator for the Disneyland Resort. Jordan oversees an award-winning wine list. Additionally, he is widely loved for nurturing the careers of many young wine professionals. Since 2001, Jordan has personally taught 250 students who subsequently passed the Court's Introductory Sommeliers Course, and six students who passed the Advanced Exam.
Winemaker of the Year: Adam Tolmach, Ojai Vineyards
Since 1983, Adam Tolmach has been producing Pinot Noirs, Syrahs, Chardonnays and other varietals from California's South Central Coast. Considered by many to be one of America's true winemaking visionaries, he is notoriously reclusive and quiet. Adam Tolmach will be on hand for a rare public appearance.

Stephen D. Tanzer is editor and publisher of International Wine Cellar, the first American
wine periodical to be translated into French and Japanese. He is the author of The WineAccess Buyer's
Guide and has also served at Senior Editor and wine columnist for Food & Wine Magazine.
